Yesterday July 21, 2018 I got the chance to attend SMART PARENTING CONVENTION the event was held at Megatrade Hall 3 , Sm Megamall. The Event was co- presented by Nivea Baby with Major Sponsors Toys R Us , Insular Life , Ford and minor sponsor Bambini Baby Cologne.

During the Event guests were able to shop from 50 Concessionaires

There were 3 Blocks The Pregnancy Block, Baby and Toddler Block the last one is the Preschool and Family Block.

Pregnancy Block ” Lamaze Birthing Method was conducted by Doula Ros Padua a certified doula who acquired her birth doula training in Indonesia under tutelage of 2011 CNN Hero of the year. Doula Ros is also one of the only two Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators trained and authorized to teach principles of Lamaze International in the Philippines.

W/ her was Doula Noelle Polack – Birth and Postpartum Doula,Breastfeeding Counselor at Pinay Doulas Collective who gave light on the topic of How to start your Newborn on the Best Nutrition( Breastfeeding 101)

Baby Block: Bringing Baby Home ( Newborn Care 101) was discussed by Dr. Florence Irena Baylas, Doctor of Medicine. She is also a Diplomate of the Philippines Pediatric Society as well a member of the Community Pediatrics Society of the Philippines. Doc Ina has always been a Smart Parenting expert contributor.
