The country’s leading bank levels up banking experience for Bicolanos
Thousands came for the vibrant events, with special deals and celebrities, but what made them show up and stay?
Throughout June and July, BDO showcased its full suite of banking services across Bicolandia, bringing a deeper connection to communities and engaging consumers and entrepreneurs in moments of fun and purposeful activities.

From fiesta fun to financial empowerment
For over six weeks, Bicolanos enjoyed exciting offers when they visited BDO branches in the region and inquired about the wide range of savings, loans, life insurance, and investment products. Entrepreneurs discovered banking solutions to make their operations more seamless as well as expand their businesses. New sign-ups were rewarded with exclusive deals throughout the campaign period.
“BDO constantly finds ways to be present in the communities to lead them towards a positive financial journey,” said Cora A. Mallillin, Executive Vice President and Head of BDO Branch Banking. “Most of the time, our customers discover about what we can do for them when they visit the branch. Through the BDO Fiesta, we are coming to them to become even more attuned to their financial needs and enhance their banking experience.”
The BDO Fiesta experience
To help Bicolanos elevate their financial journey, BDO hosted mini-fiestas and financial literacy sessions across Albay, Camarines Sur, and Sorsogon. For small businesses, BDO held two Usapang Negosyo Forum, one in Naga and another in Legazpi. In these venues, bank experts provided entrepreneurs with access to business solutions to improve the management of their financial transactions.

The big day for the BDO Fiesta Bicol run was on July 19, and this lively finale at SM City Legazpi was a resounding success. Alden Richards, along with MC, Lassy, Tart Carlos, and Donita Nose lit up the stage with non-stop laughs and unforgettable performances. Clients and prospects eagerly participated in the activities, enjoying the prizes, games, and celebrity appearances.
“By bringing our banking services closer to the local communities and giving them more opportunities to access them, BDO hopes to help our customers plan their financial future in a way that’s easy, simple, and secure,” declared Cora A. Mallillin, Executive Vice President and Head of BDO Branch Banking.
