Approximately 2,000 runners and fitness enthusiasts gathered at Pueblo Business Park for PRURun 2026, a corporate wellness and community running event now in its third year that promotes health, discipline, and active living.
Organised by China Gold District, Pru Life UK’s biggest agency in Cagayan de Oro, PRURun 2026 once again proved to be a unifying event for agents, clients, and members of the community. With Pru Life UK as the title sponsor, this year’s run reaffirmed the company’s commitment to empowering Filipinos to live healthy.
“This occasion is even more meaningful as we mark 30 years of Filipinos counting on PRU to address their health, wealth, and protection needs across generations,” said Pru Life UK Vice President and National Sales Director Jennifer May Santos.
PRURun 2026 introduced expanded race distances and engaged a broader audience, further strengthening its reach and impact. Its January race date also aligns with peak fitness and wellness participation, positioning PRURun as one of the city’s most anticipated early-year fitness events.
“In just a few years, PRURun CDO has grown from over 500 runners to more than 1,600 runners in its third year. This growth reflects the passion of the people who value a healthy lifestyle, discipline, and shared purpose,” Santos added.
Participants took part in four race categories: 3K, 5K, 10K, and 16K, welcoming runners of all ages and fitness levels. The event reflected a strong spirit of inclusivity and purpose, anchored in its core message: “Run for Health. Run for Protection. Run for Life.”
The success of PRU Run 2026 marks another milestone in the ongoing efforts of Pru Life UK and China Gold District to inspire communities to move forward together, so they can count on PRU for a healthier, stronger, and protected life.
