Start with these shows from the tons of kiddie titles to choose from

Alarms are finally off as kids get to sleep in and play around this summer break. Part of the agenda as well is to catch their favorite shows on Disney+, not just on their tablets, but on the living room TV, which makes for perfect family bonding moments.

With lots of quality selections to choose from, however, deciding which title deserves the Play button can be overwhelming. Luckily, Disney+ comes through with a handful of suggestions to get your binge sessions started.

‘Mickey + Bluey’
Everyone’s familiar with Mickey. But how much do you know about Bluey?

The titular lead of the globally acclaimed Australian animated series has been making waves since 2018 as a Blue Heeler puppy with boundless energy and high-spirited curiosity. In the new powerhouse collaboration  Mickey + Bluey, the two meet for the very first time, in celebration of Disney’s relationship with Bluey producers Ludo Studio and partner BBC Studios. Here, Mickey and his friends land in the middle of a game of Musical Statues with Bluey and her family. Watch the epic team-up between the two on Disney+.

For one, there’s Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show,” a special televised version of the popular touring theatrical production, featuring live performances of fan-favorite characters brought to life by world-class puppeteers. Additionally, a collection of Bluey Minisodes, previously only available online and in Australia, will also be available for the first time on Disney+, starting May 20. Take note that Bluey is a certified global phenomenon as 2025’s #1 most-streamed program in the U.S. for the second year in a row, with 45.2 billion minutes streamed, so don’t miss out!

‘Sofia the First: Royal Magic’

Mark your calendars as the brand-new series set in the world of Sofia the First arrives on Disney+ this May.

In 2012, Disney’s Sofia the First introduced its first little girl princess. The series still holds the record for the Top 3 cable TV telecasts for Girls 2-5 of all time and remains one of the most successful global preschool franchises for The Walt Disney Company. For the upcoming Sofia the First: Royal Magic, the series will follow Sofia as she attends The Charmswell School for Royal Magic, where she discovers she is the most magical princess in the realm and must learn how to master her powers while making new royal friends.

With special appearances from Moana, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Aurora, and Elena of Avalor throughout the series, offering guidance, wisdom and support when Sofia needs it the most.

‘BeddyByes’ and ‘Magicampers’
Lastly, there are two new preschool series to keep an eye on.

First is BeddyByes, a gentle series designed to support positive sleep routines for young children. The story follows best friends MeMo and BaBa as they travel across the remarkable Planet BeddyByes, meeting new and familiar faces on their mindful and soothing journey to bedtime. Next is Magicampers, a fantastical adventure series, also for preschoolers. It’s about the adventures of best friends Darly and Loomis at a day camp for magical creatures on a fantastical island. They will learn that becoming a legend isn’t about mastering magic powers or winning the biggest prize. Rather, it’s about understanding and accepting yourself and others and working together with all kinds of friends.
